I am sure everyone is aware to what Housie is? But still for those who are new to Housie, it is a game of probability in which players mark off the numbers on the ticket as the number are been drawn randomly by a caller. The winner being the first person to mark off all the numbers.

12 Lockdown Housie Variations:

1. Hotspot: 

It is just similar to ‘Early 5’. Any player’s whose first 5 random numbers gets strike off in the ticket can claim for this prize.

2. Police Ke Dande:

Here the player can claim for this dividend when he strikes off all the numbers which have ‘1’ either in the beginning or ending.

3. Social Distancing:

It is just similar to ‘Four Corners’ i.e. first & last numbers of 1^st line and 3^rd line. Any player who strikes off these 4 numbers first can claim for the dividend.

4. Quarantine:

All the numbers that are standing in isolation i.e there should be no number either on the immediate right or left nor there should be a number on the immediate top or bottom.

Any player who strikes off these numbers can claim for this prize.

5. Covid-19:

All the numbers which have either ‘1’ or ‘9’ at the beginning or ending will be termed as ‘Covid-19’ numbers.

Player who is able to strike off all the Covid-19 numbers in the ticket can claim for this reward.

6. Corona +ve: 

It is the ‘+’ formation in the ticket i.e. striking off all the 2^nd Line numbers and all numbers ranging between 40 to 49.

Any player who fulfills this condition can claim for this reward.

7. Lockdown:

It is the ‘L’ formation in the ticket i.e. striking off all the 3^rd Line numbers and all numbers ranging between 0 to 9.

Any player who fulfils this condition can claim for dividend.

8. Stage 1:

It is just similar to ‘Line 1’. If a player is able to strike off all the numbers on the 1^st Line of the ticket, he/she can claim for the reward.

9. Stage 2:

It is just similar to ‘Line 2’. If a player is able to strike off all the numbers on the 2^nd Line of the ticket, he/she can claim for the reward.

10. Stage 3:

It is just similar to ‘Line 3’. If a player is able to strike off all the numbers on the 3^rd Line of the ticket, he/she can claim for the reward.

11. Pandemic/ Mahamari:

It is nothing but our motto i.e. ‘Full Housie’. When all the numbers on the ticket gets striked out you can claim for this prize.

It all depends on the number of players you are playing with and accordingly decide how many Full Housie you want to keep.

I prefer atleast 2 Full Housie so I have named 1^st Full Housie as ‘Pandemic’ and 2^nd one as ‘Mahamari’.

12. Bach Gae:

Hello, the game is not yet over, this claim is for the unlucky ones. After all the Housie are being claimed, now comes the turn of those unlucky numbers that are still to be called out. Player who has maximum of them on their ticket can claim for this dividend.

In short after the game is over you will call out how many numbers in your ticket are left unstriked. Player who has maximum, gets the reward.
